How to Customize Layout Function in Blogger Dashboard? Step by Step Tips. 

        There are several elements or segments in blogger dashboard. All these elements placed in such a way that all the important and lucrative ideas and topics are displayed eye catching. The size, colour and texture of the elements need to be good looking and attentive. The allocation and distribution of the components is collectively called the layout of the blog.   

Layout in Blogger Template

              The Layout function in blogger dashboard allows a designer to customize the appearance and functionality of your blog. We can add, remove, or rearrange widgets, change the theme, and adjust the settings of th blog. Here are the steps to use the Layout Function in Blogger Dashboard:


Step-1. 

            Log in to Blogger account and go to the dashboard of the blog which is wanted to be edited. Now we see "Layout" Tab in the left side bar column of the Dashboard.

Step-2. 

           Now click on the Layout option on the left sidebar. Now see the a preview of desired blog with different sections marked as header, sidebar, footer, etc.

Step-3. 

            To add a widget, click on the Add a Gadget link on any section. A pop-up window will open with a list of available widgets. You can browse by category or search by name. Click on the widget you want to add and configure its settings as needed. Then click on Save.

Step-4. 

             To remove a widget, hover over it and click on the Edit link. Then click on Remove and confirm your action.

Step-5. 

             To rearrange widgets, drag and drop them to the desired position within or across sections. You can also use the up and down arrows to move them.

Step-6. 

            To change the theme, click on the Theme option on the left sidebar. You will see a list of themes that you can apply to your blog. You can also customize the theme by clicking on Customize and changing the colors, fonts, backgrounds, etc.

Step-7. 

            To adjust the settings, click on the Settings option on the left sidebar. You will see various tabs such as Basic, Posts, Comments, etc. You can change the title, description, language, privacy, post settings, comment settings, etc. of your blog.

Step-8. 

            After making any changes, click on Save Arrangement or Save Theme or Save Settings depending on what you edited. You can also preview your changes by clicking on View Blog.
